Made to be kept
The lifetime guarantee.
Every piece is cut and stitched by hand in our Woodstock workshop to outlast trends, seasons and a lot of golf. We stand behind that, and we mean it literally: we repair our own craftsmanship, free, for as long as you own it.

The promise
Leather lives a life. Straps soften, zips tire, stitching is asked to hold while a headcover gets pulled on and off four hundred times a season.
If anything ever fails through the way it was made, or through the honest wear of everyday use, bring it home. A zip that splits, stitching that lets go, a clasp that gives way. We repair it, parts and labour, at no cost, for as long as you own it. The same hands that made it put it right.
We do not believe in disposable leather. We believe in things built to be repaired, not replaced.

What is covered, and what is not
The guarantee covers the original owner and requires proof of purchase. Return shipping both ways is the owner's responsibility, and every repair is assessed at the workshop's discretion.
Covered
Zips. Stitching. Hardware. Seams and straps.
Any fault in our materials or workmanship, and any failure from normal, everyday use. All parts and all labour, free, for the lifetime of the piece.
Not covered
Accidental damage. Misuse. Spills. Cosmetic wear.
And leather simply doing what leather should: ageing, softening, taking on its patina. Those are features, not faults.
The terms, in plain language
What the guarantee is
A goodwill guarantee of our craftsmanship. It is not an insurance policy, not a warranty covering accidental damage, and not a promise to replace. It is our commitment to repair faults in our making, and failures from normal use, for as long as you own the piece.
Who it covers
The original purchaser only, and it is non-transferable: it does not pass to a new owner if the piece is gifted, sold or inherited. Valid proof of purchase is required, and we may ask to inspect the piece to confirm it is genuinely ours.
What we cover
Faults in materials and workmanship, and failures that arise from normal, everyday use: zips, stitching, hardware, seams and strap attachments. Every repair is assessed and carried out at our sole discretion.
What we do not cover
Accidental damage (drops, tears, crushing), misuse, neglect, overloading, water, heat, chemical or dye damage, general cosmetic wear, scuffs and scratches, deliberate damage, commercial or rental use, improper storage, and any repair or alteration carried out by anyone other than us.
Repair, not replacement
Some damage is beyond practical repair. Where a piece cannot reasonably be restored, we may decline the repair or offer to remake it at a fair cost. The guarantee does not entitle you to a free replacement.
The nature of leather
Leather ages, patinas, softens and marks. These are features, not faults, and are not covered or repaired. We restore function and integrity; we do not return a piece to factory-new, and exact colour or grain matching on aged leather cannot be guaranteed. Discontinued hardware or leather is substituted as closely as possible, at our discretion.
Personalised pieces
Personalisation is part of the piece and is guaranteed like any other part of our making. It does not affect your cover. Personalised pieces remain non-returnable.
Shipping and risk
Return shipping both ways is the owner's responsibility and cost. Items are sent at the owner's risk, so we recommend insured, tracked shipping. We are not liable for loss or damage in transit. International owners are responsible for all shipping, customs, duties and any import or export permits.
Timing
Repairs are completed as promptly as care allows, with no guaranteed turnaround. We are not liable for any inconvenience or loss arising from the time a piece is with us.
Your statutory rights
This guarantee is offered in addition to your rights under South African consumer law and does not limit or replace them.
Changes
We may amend or withdraw the lifetime guarantee for future purchases at any time.
Buy once. Keep it for life.
That is the whole idea. If anything of ours ever needs us, email legendarygolfsa@gmail.com with your order number and a photo, and we will take it from there.
